MY salute to Malaysia HERO(es) …
Many people are taking about our new national hero who just returned from space .. the ‘very good looking’ Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor (hehe) pls click here: Angkasawan … I’m very happy tat Malaysian has finally gone to space (yeah)! However .. 
I think there’s another hero which we have all overlooked … he didn’t goto space or make international headlines by doing something groundbreaking, but he’s now my role-model … and his name is Wireman S. Krishnamoorthy (dun ask me how to pronounce, hehe) pls click here: HERO … 
he’s my real HERO because he did what most of us dare not to do under such situations and when it really2 matter most!! I’m SOOooo proud of him (he’s only 19!!). So i wanna dedicate my blog to him and hope tat more Malaysians will follow his example and make him our role model …
Anyway, my album will be coming out soon (29th October 2007) .. it’s really exciting and i’m very nervous … I’ll come back again to talk about my album on my next blog ya .. pls take care for now @ Karen

Every nation has a hero. Our national hero in the Philippines is Dr. Jose Rizal. He did not use a sword to fight against the enemy. He used his pen to write books to enlighten the mind of Filipino people.
I respect your national hero. I respect your country. Because all of the nations around the world have strengths and weaknesses. I appreciate you because you have a model to follow to attain your success.
Our model to follow is Jesus Christ. Sometimes, we have a short coming to follow him. But just because he gave us a good model, we always try to do our best to follow him. I hope you too to your model.

erkk…okayla, the dr syeikh muszaphar aka DR SMS is not a space tourist anymore,have been upgrade to cosmonaut..but still i cant see y we sending him up there? just wasting money? plus, it’s not our space programme, we just send him to TUMPANG other’s, just like u buy a flight ticket, but instead of goin places here, he went to ISS, using tax payer’s money!!

Karen, do you know that from a document publish by NASA; as far as NASA concern, Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor position on the trip is just a “passanger”? - penumpang, not angkasawan. After all, he didn’t know how to operate the ship at all.
Government spent RM 105 million to send a passanger to international space station to do some liver cancer and leukemia cell test; on the other hand Krishnamoorthy saved 18 survivors from ferry incident and being rewarded RM 800 by a business man, and nothing from government.
RM 800 saving 18 life = RM 44.44 per life.
RM 105 million = 2,362,736 survivors’ life
Angkasawan project has cost the life of 2,362,736 people and Sheikh Muszaphar come back with his test that does no big deal in saving the life of liver cancer and leukemia patients.

What’s with all the fuss about Malaysian Angkasawan? I don’t think that anyone deserves to judge him negatively. Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar is indeed a true hero compared to any of us and we should be proud of him or at least have a decent respect for him. The government has stated that this project is not a waste, afterall the space program between Russia and Malaysia was establieshed as a result of Malaysian government buying MIGs aircraft and the agreement stated that Malaysia was qualified to participate in the space program. I don’t see any waste of taxpayers’ money here. Afterall, the Angkasawan project has ignited a brand new era here in Malaysia, something has to start somewhere, even the kids know that. I bet that most of you here commented about him wasting taxpayers’ money don’t even pay your tax!!! And who said being an Angkasawan is an easy thing??? Stupidity is really an issue here as most of us talk without using the brain that God gave!!! Who give a damn if he’s a flight participant??? US was just jealous of Malaysia. To those who support Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar, let us pray to our Lord and dedicate our deepest condolences for his passing brother recently. Al-fatihah and a moment of silence…..

Actually our so called astronaut is nothing more than a space tourist. I give him props for being the first Malaysian in space but national hero? Falls short a little. And Karen, your the ugliest girl I’ve ever seen how do you do out in public?

I can’t really say that I’m proud of him to be a national hero. For me sending people to space just for the publicity is a waste of money and time. I can’t see any benefit that he will bring back for Malaysia.
Just my thought.

the so call ‘upgrade’ or inaugaration for both ‘angkasawan’ to be labelled ‘cosmonauts’ is nothing to shout about rather just as a pride giving ceremony. Dr. sheikh had no technical tasks at all & not only nasa but roscosmos does not recognise him as an astronaut proper.
to those saying usa is jealous, well why must they be jealous?they’ve been in space over 50 yrs & not only that they’ve sent satellites thru out the solar system.
compare that to wat mr. angkasawan did?do kiddie experiment(which has been conducted b4), fasting & praying in space,reciting rukun negara….oh boy…this wat taxpaers paid for?

HERO like him is what we would like to have more. The country must educate, train and nurture more people to have heart like him.
As for me my HERO not even in the newspaper. He was a boy when he saved a life from drowning. this happened infront of my eyes. That was back 1971 and he is now only a normal humble person.
