My FIRST Chinese Crowd Performance : >

Last week was another pretty fruitful week as I did a chinese ‘talk-show’ at Astro which I was
engaged in ‘debating’ in mandarin entirely
(wow, haha) but most of the time i just had
fun laughing at my own mandarin .. haha! Many well-known
seniors from the music industry were there including MYFM Vivian, Yu Zhong, Danny, Cheong-Go and many more
… i was the youngest in the group so they took care of me well .. hehee (thanks!).

I also visited MYFM & XFRESH radio
studio for my <Unbreakable
Spirit> interview as well .. speaking
on-air in mandarin was a big-challenge for me as I’m still trying to
improve my ‘hua-yu’ hehe …
anyway thanks to all listeners who wrote to me here
after my interviews .. glad tat u can support a

My week brought me to Johore Bahru (Danga
Bay) for my first chinese crowd
performance - Astro Super 50 Concert!  Manage to catch up with
my new friends & performers and had a
great time … so glad tat Astro can support newcomers like us … i guess if only i
did better on stage I would have enjoyed even more, communicating to the crowd and also TV viewers in
mandarin took a lot of work (hehe) so somehow I feel tat I didn’t do so well … i guess
there’s still so much more i need to improve
… anyway it was a great learning experience for me …Photo0686aa_1

Anyway
as part of the <Unbreakable Spirit> campaign
which I’m doing with Sunsilk and the STORE,
I’ll be going to these places
and really hope you can come to support me if

    COngratz on ur achievement so far and wish u all the best in your journey. keep up the good work. You definately have the potential to be a top singer. Heard from myFM that u are going to release a chinese album rite? maybe you can sing some chinese songs to get more support from your fans. Im sure alot of your fans want to listen to it.

    First of all congrate to u, & proud of you too as i’m frm KK also and grown up in Beaufort which is near to Labuan (actually very far also :P).
    I see…you was at Danga Bay…look like i missed the perfomance :’( as i’m in JB now and not knowing you yet at that time…
    Frm last few blog you mention we can dedicated song for you to choose and sing, well my choice is:
    1)chinese song - 听海(Ting Hai)
    2)japanese song - First Love
    3) English - Colour of the wind.
    Well,all have powerful vocal,bit challenge,hehe :P and i believe you have it. Your vocal is unique & identical,power yet lovely and sweet. one who really listen carefully can differentiate, so we’ll support you to sing out of the shadow of other senior singers~

    After 2 hours, I begin to ask around and only found out that you have left. I have mistaken the time lah. What a silly mistake. However, I manage to capture your pics at the stage.
