My Graduation Day is TOMORROW ..
I finished my last exam paper last Dec … but it’s not until tomorrow that I’m officially a university-grad (hehe), though it’s very important to me, it’s even a bigger deal for my parents and i’m SOoooo happy that that they’ll be there to witness this special occasion for me.
i haven’t updated much lately cos i guess something’s bothering me a little … Well .. Things are going pretty for me (i think) and yet I feel kinda weird, it’s a lot of effort to record an album which i did for the past 2 years, but right now it’s even more effort to be an ‘artiste’ … i’ve never been a very good public-speaker or someone who’s very comfortable in front of many people (believe or not … only when i’m on stage tat i have more confident) so these past few weeks have been …. errr, new experience for me.
In many ways I know i’m not ready but i feel there’s no turning back and all i can do is go-forward .. sometimes when i went thru a not-so-good interview session i really feel that i’ve let my music label down (sigh) … i dunno wat to do really, all my life i’ve grown up on an island with only 60,000 people (it’s even smaller than Damansara u know …) which is very2 different from KL lifestyle, i really hope others can understand that …
There’s so much more i need to improve and things i need to learn, i wish more people would see that … and gimme more time and chance, i’m doing all i can now and it’s not easy, i dun even dare to tell my parents about things tat i’m goin thru now cos i know they’ll worry about me even more, i’m old enough so it’s something i need to handle myself … gee, I dunno wat is it i’m bloggin about (sigh) so i guess i’ll stop now @ Karen
PS: i found some old labuan photos so hope u like the ‘chubby’ little girl in it .. i really miss my home so much …

Hi Karen, Su Yin here… congratulations on your graduation, sleep early tonight or you’ll have panda eyes tomoro!!! Also, cherish the time you get to see your friends, you’ll never know when is the next time u’ll get to see them again!!
As for how you felt now.. well.. take time to adapt to the new lifestyle okie… don’t push yourself too hard, don’t give unnecessary pressure on yourself, afterall, Rome wasn’t built in a day!!!

Tahniah dan semoga bergembira di hari konvo! tentang “never been a very good public-speaker”, erm orang kata alah bisa tegal biasa. kalau kite imbas kembali artis2 baru biasa la dengan masalah ni. Contohnya Siti dgn Misha pon saya rasa nak tergelak bila tengok cara diorang cakap mase mule2 jadi artis. Tapi sekarang bila dah biasa mereka semakin pandai berbicara.
