(updates) My DEBUT ALBUM out next week !!

Wow .. i dun remember how long ago exactly when i first dreamt of having my own music album .. maybe as long as i learnt how to sing (when i was four years old, hehe) .. ironically, somehow i can still vividly remember how i felt when i was told by one of e Malaysian Idol judges that i cannot make it as a singer, cos i ‘can’t’ sing … (believe or not) i was kicked out of the 2004 competition tat very moment … didn’t even get passed round ONE! … heart-shattered, i then stayed home crying for days, all my life i wanted to b a singer and here i was .. rejected on my very first audition …

Anyway, time really2 flies .. 3 years have passed and things finally changed for the better, next week is <MULAKAN> my debut album release and it’s really2 like a dream come true for me .. (my hands r kinda ’shaky’ as i’m typing tis) .. i’m SOOOoo nervous cos it’s like the ‘biggest’ thing tat ever happened to me and it’s happening NEXT WEEK! You know wat, I guess the ultimate lesson i’ve learnt since being rejected tat day .. is ‘never to give up’ no matter wat … !!

Karen_album2Karen_album5aHere’re some sneak preview pics of the album (which i only just got to see myself last week!) … honestly, i am truly very2 fortunate, and really could not ask 4 a better album than this, i’m so very happy wit everything … it has not been easy recording tis album, which took over 2 years of my life, but when i finally see the completed album (actually i haven’t seen the physical CD yet, hehe) .. it’s all worth working hard for …

If u r reading tis from outside Msia / Spore / Brunei … i’m so sorry tat my album won’t b available yet (i was told tat Indonesia / Philippines etc will release later) … so my dear friends from Msia / Spore / Brunei … pls look out for the album next week (official launch is 15th January 2007) and I truly hope u will support me, it’s really my dream come true and i owe tis to so many people, I promise i won’t let ya down … Happy 2007 again!

    u get us excited over ur album, tapi u tarak give more details:
    1) where to get the album
    2) do we get to meet u face to face?
    3) can get signature?

    such things? lol.. or maybe still arranging.^^

    finally after working so hard, there are some achievements. but after this, sure got more and more challenges. malaysian idol din pick u, is really sad, but i think u proove urself worthy havnt u?

    anyways, u dun need them anymore.. u have already reallised ur dreams. some ppl might wanna follow ur footsteps. *if u ever read this, wat tips would u give to those ppl?*

  29. Wow you’re AMAZING, you sing really GREAT. I cannot put up the words the way I feel whenever I hear you sing. The first time I heard you sing I thought you’re an angel.     I know that even though this is your first album and you are feeling nervous, yet I believe that you will come out winning. Always remember ‘we’ your fans will be here to back you up.

    There’s reason behind your downfall from Malaysian Idol. I believe that it is a test for you to see how far you are willing to go for your dream when things does not go your way. Perhaps later in your career you will face a similar situation. Where you feel that there’s no hope and giving up is the only option. Yet just keep on going! Break the wall! Climb the ladder! Sooner than you know, you’ll achieve it. Also remember this, when you are going for your dream with that much effort, you will be touching so many people’s heart and you will impact their lives positively.
