My 1st Wedding in 2007 … !!
The last time i went to Malacca, I got food poisoned / suffered serious stomach pain and cried a lot (hehe) .. but tis time it’s different … knowing tat my producer Zhi Qing (Lee Chee Cheng) is going to get married there (in his hometown marrying his high school sweetheart) so THIS TIME ‘no poison’ can stop me from attending tat special wedding .. haha ..
If u dunno Zhi Qing, he’s one of Msia’s most talented songwriter and has written for people like A-Do, Stef Sun, Fish Leong, Emil Chou, Apple Hong, Z-Chen etc … sadly, he hasn’t written for me yet (hahah) cos he specialises in chinese songs mainly … Well tat also brings me to another question many ppl have been asking … ‘why don’t I sing chinese songs?’ … Well i guess when I’m ready and given the oppotunity, why not?! … hehe. Btw, Zhi Qing was the one tat discovered me when he judged my UNI Talent Night 2 years ago … seeing him getting married that night really made me wanna cry (happy tears la) .. especially when he was serenading his bride tat night wit his guitar and his famous song ‘Bao Yu Wo’ … I’m SOooo happy for him & his lovely wife …
(tis is Jackey, he’s a music arranger tat arranged the song ‘BINTANG’ for me, very talented guy also) … Well .. back to my life, it’s been more than a week since my album hits the market .. many frens have been asking me ‘how the sales r going?’ .. to be honest, i dunno yet … i kinda wanted to ask my label but somehow I dun think it’s the right time (a bit too soon to tell) - but then, i have a feeling tat it’s … well, not as good as my company would hope for : ( Cos knowing my manager Tramy who always wanna protect me and not hurt my feelings … since she hasn’t said anything yet, my guess is maybe it’s not selling as well so far … (sigh)
I kinda have mixed-feelings at the moment; i’m very2 happy cos i finally hav an album and i’ve received so many well-wishes from frens all around but on the other hand, i feel tat i may have let many people down if e album doesn’t do well … i mean, i’ve really did e best i could, all i can do now is ask people to gimme a chance, listen to my album and support me … (apart from praying) - well if u r reading tis, i hope u gimme a chance & pls listen to my album … it would mean the world to me if u can get a copy of my album to support me … (thanks …)
(tis is my dear Prodigee family) For those tat already bought my album (thanks a million!), i truly2 appreciate your support (u’ve made my dream come true) and also to the new forum Yosua created for me, thanks again for joining .. I will continue to update u guys ya, it’s been a long day again today, i had interview at XFRESH (did anyone get to listen?) and they’re playing Na Na Na Nada Cinta now .. The food there is yummy yummy, or maybe you ate satay celup the last time you were there? Some ppl are not used to it, or has super sensitive stomach,hence the tummy upset! its hard, hard and very very hard to feel the unknown. you might hope for alot. then again you might feel down and afraid you will not make it. very dissapointed. but think the bright side, you had work hard and have your own album. something special had happen to you, its only time that proven you, and giving the best that you can make out yourself. just believe yourself you will make the difference and be success. it will make you impatient but i believe you will be success. i pray you for that.

Frankly speaking my dear karen.. If really as expected ur ablum didn’t really did well is mainly coz there isn’t any advertising going on in the market to promote u.. of coz i have bought ur CD when i was at malaysia.. & i have actually ask friend to support u too.. but many of my friends dun really noe a person like u in the market.. they doubted ur abilities coz they didn’t got a chance to listen to ur singing.. 2ndly.. many just find a chinese gal singing a malay song is kind of impropriate.. coz malay will not really wanna buy a malay song sing by a chinese gals & the chinese will find it really weird to buy a malay ablum that is sing by a chinese gal.. it just dun match at all.. they sure to doubt u coz they dunno u at all my dear..
but anyway.. that a good start.. i still think a chinese gal singing a chinese song is much more better.. the market is much more bigger as u can see rite.. hopefully.. u will be able to release ur 1st chinese ablum soon.. & of coz ur company must do somethings about it if they really wanna u to become a super star i guess.. ermm.. dear.. cheer up.. sure one day u will succeed in ur singing career.. coz the devil always have fate in u.. never say die.. never afraid to be a failure.. keep trying & trying till u reaches ur dream okie.. may god be there for u to guide u through ur career.. Somehow i doubt you have to fear about albums not being able to sell.There are indeed good songs in it,such as “Cinta Hello Kitty”(still wondering why was it kitty cat =), “Ku Tak Upaya”(nicely done).It’ll sell for sure.No worries
